At the ceremony, the Officiating Guests also presented the prizes to the winners of “10 out of 10 for Green Building KOL Video Competition” and recognised the gorgeous winning entries. Besides, the Kick-off Ceremony marked the official launch of “Greenbuildingverse”, a two-week online interactive game encourages the participants to finish online and onsite missions, and strive to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 together.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of HKGBW, “10 out of 10 for Green Building KOL Video Competition” was launched as an opening programme of the HKGBW 2022. The public was encouraged to act as green building KOLs, developing a video from a theme related to “10” and “Green Building” to capture the beauty of one green building from the ten designated local green buildings and introduce their sustainable features. Throughout the competition, the public could learn the benefits of green buildings and the importance of carbon reduction.

For more information on the ten designated green buildings, ten green building elements and the must-read tips of the video competition, please refer to “Ten Designated Green Buildings Guide Book” for more production aspirations. The competition results have been announced on our social media platforms and competition website.
