Call for Nomination - WorldGBC Asia Pacific Leadership in Green Building Awards for 2020 - Women in Green Building Leadership Award (只提供英文版)



The World Green Building Council is launching its WorldGBC Asia Pacific Leadership in Green Building Awards for 2020 (WorldGBC APN Awards 2020) to celebrate leadership on sustainability in buildings. The Women in Green Building Leadership Award, in its 2nd edition, is to pay tribute to an inspiring female leader in green building movement. In a traditionally male-dominated industry, WorldGBC would like to recognise the pivotal role that women play in nurturing and activating their communities and delivering change.

How to apply?
  1. Join as HKGBC Member - The nominee has to join as HKGBC Associate Member - Individual, unless she is already covered by other membership types of HKGBC :  https://www.hkgbc.org.hk/eng/Membership.aspx 
  2. Invite ONE Proposer to write a passage (below 500 words) for the nominee
  3. Invite TWO Referees for the nomination (provide contacts only)
  4. Fill in the nomination form of the WorldGBC APN Awards  
  5. Submit completed nomination form and other required information by email to [email protected]
  6. Attend a Selection Panel Interview formed by HKGBC in June, if appropriate
  7. Pay the nomination fee of HK$5,000 to HKGBC, if being selected to represent Hong Kong
  8. Commit to attend the Award Ceremony in Indonesia in late November or early December 2020

  • Sr Bay WONG, Former Chairman and Director of HKGBC
  • Ms Mary CHAN, Winner of Women in Green Building Leadership Award 2018 and Director of HKGBC
  • Ms Christine LOH, Chief Development Strategist, Institute for the Environment, HKUST
