Established in 2009, Hong Kong Green Building Council (“the Council”) is the leading body, co-founded by four major construction industry and environmental organisations, driving the market transformation towards green and sustainable buildings in Hong Kong through engagement with the industry, the government and broader community.
HKGBC is expanding its secretariat team in line with its positioning as Hong Kong's leading member-based body dedicated to green building development, with opening for the post of Assistant Manager - IT:
Key Roles:
- Report to Head of Finance and Administration and oversee a small and medium enterprise (SME)’s IT systems and security, including network infrastructure, Active Directory, Security, applications, servers, website, data management systems, and devices maintenance
- Control and monitor data, account, network access, backup system & restores
- Ensure security of data, network access and backup of systems
- Establish risk management plans and conduct regular system audits
- Formulate, compile and implement IT policies, procedures, controls, plans and solutions to support the business plans
- Collaborate with different departments for implementing, streamlining and enhancing business processes
- Manage outsourced service providers and monitor their performance and ensure quality and timely deliverables
- Lead and manage all phases of IT projects, including the design and deployment of new systems and services
- Handle procurement and manage the budget and resources of IT Unit
- Supervise and coach one IT subordinate to carry out the daily IT operational support, troubleshooting and maintenance
- Any other duties as assigned by Executive Director of HKGBC or his delegate
- A degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information System or related disciplines
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in network and system administration:
- Hands-on experience in Microsoft Active Directory, Mail, Antivirus, Backup, Patch Management
- Solid experience in infrastructure setting of Server, Storage, Network, IT Security, and maintenance - Able to work independently in IT projects and vendor management
- Able to be multi-tasking and able to meet tight deadlines
- Strong sense of integrity and confidentiality
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey IT technical knowledge and concept to the management and end-user in all levels
- A team leader and team player with strategic thinking and good organizational skill
- Candidate with more experience will be considered as Manager - IT

Job Description
Assisting the Head of Marketing, to plan, organise and execute all marketing related duties including:
- To organise and follow through the planning, budget control, execution and logistic arrangements of various types of events, including large scale international and regional conferences, award presentations, press conferences, exhibitions, public campaigns, seminars and site visits, etc
- To manage corporate communications channels, including corporate website and email marketing, etc
- To assist in developing various online and offline marketing collaterals from conception, content development to layout design
- To prepare editorial contents such as council announcement, speeches, presentations, monthly e-newsletter, etc
- To assist in being the brand guardian and promoting the brand of the HKGBC
- To manage the various membership database and related registration and renewal
- To assist in initiatives related to membership promotion and sponsorship programme
- To handle membership or external enquiries and administration
- To provide secretariat support to the related Standing Committee(s)
- To support the team in other activities as required and necessary
- Degree holder in Marketing, or related disciplines
- 1 to 3 years of working experience, preferably in marketing or events industry
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and knowledge in HTML would be an advantage
- Diligent and detail-oriented
- Good project management skills, multi-tasking and able to meet tight deadlines

Key Roles:
- Conduct existing building site inspection and supervision, investigation, site meeting and coordination works related to retro-commissioning and retrofitting on air-conditioning installation and BMS control. Supervise site measurement and data collection when necessary
- Supervise building operators and contractors of other facility management companies for carrying out efficient and effective on-site commissioning for quick-fixed retro-commissioning works, monitoring progress and service quality on retro-commissioning and retrofitting works when necessary
- Prepare training materials and deliver pre-recording training presentations for site operators
- Diploma or above in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Energy or Building Science Engineering or equivalent engineering discipline
- Minimum 25 years of post-graduate working experience in building services air-conditioning discipline of the building industry, including a minimum of 10 years relevant working experience related to building energy / retrofitting / retro-commissioning / commissioning works of air-conditioning installation
- Candidate who works as engineer or above in facilities / properties management with over 10 years of hands-on experience primarily on air-conditioning is preferred
- Strong on-site project (retrofitting / RCx / commissioning) management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and equip with high-level skills of work
- Additional practical experience or credentials in building energy-related aspects would be an advantage
- Be able to work both independently and in a team, with good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
- General command of spoken English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin), and written English
