Established in 2009, Hong Kong Green Building Council (“the Council”) is the leading body, co-founded by four major construction industry and environmental organisations, driving the market transformation towards green and sustainable buildings in Hong Kong through engagement with the industry, the government and broader community.

HKGBC is expanding its secretariat team in line with its positioning as Hong Kong's leading member-based body dedicated to green building development, with opening for the post of Summer Intern – Marketing and Membership:

Job Description:

Assisting the Head of Marketing, to plan, organise and execute all marketing & PR related duties including:

Key Roles:

  • To assist in the execution and logistic arrangement of various types of event, including large scale public campaign, awards, competition, exhibitions, press conferences, stakeholder engagements, site visits etc
  • To manage the various database and related registrations and updates
  • To assist in website development and content management
  • To provide administrative support to the team in other activities as required and necessary

Requirements:

  • Be an undergraduate student, preferably with major in Business, Communications, Humanities, Languages, Marketing or Sustainability
  • Possess excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Be proficient in gathering, organising and analysing vast amount of information and come up with suggestions
  • Be a self-starter and quick learner
  • Be open-minded, detail-minded and well-organised
  • Be hard-working, versatile and patient
  • Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop is a plus
