Established in 2009, Hong Kong Green Building Council (“the Council”) is the leading body, co-founded by four major construction industry and environmental organisations, driving the market transformation towards green and sustainable buildings in Hong Kong through engagement with the industry, the government and broader community.

HKGBC is expanding its secretariat team in line with its positioning as Hong Kong's leading member-based body dedicated to green building development, with opening for the post of Executive - Administration:

Key Roles:

  • Report to Head and Managers of Finance and Administration Department
  • Attend to day-to-day general office administration duties covering:
    • general office security, repair and maintenance;
    • upkeep and ordering of pantry and office supplies;
    • printing and stationery, courier and incoming mail handling;
    • disposal and recycling of obsolete items;
    • external storage monitoring;
    • managing various office and maintenance contracts;
    • sourcing quotations and dealing with suppliers;
    • upkeep various control registers; and
    • any other general office duties as assigned.
  • Provide administration support to:
    • office renovation projects/staff workstation relocations;
    • green office initiatives;
    • various meetings of Board and Committees and general meeting of Council’s members.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in business administration, or related disciplines
  • At least 3 years of working experience in office administration, preferably in sizable corporation, statutory bodies or NGOs
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Adobe and general IT skills
  • Diligent, well organised, detail-oriented, able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
  • A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
