Established in 2009, Hong Kong Green Building Council (“the Council”) is the leading body, co-founded by four major construction industry and environmental organisations, driving the market transformation towards green and sustainable buildings in Hong Kong through engagement with the industry, the government and broader community.

HKGBC is expanding its secretariat team in line with its positioning as Hong Kong's leading member-based body dedicated to green building development, with opening for the post of Manager - Sustainable Built Environment:

Key Roles:

  • To carry out various researches related to sustainable buildings & manage such researches carried out by other organisations engaged by the Council;
  • To provide professional support to the Council on the promotion of sustainable buildings such as the production of tools/ assessment schemes/ best practices/ guidelines for the industry, delivering talks at events or other promotional activities.

Requirements:

  • University graduate in Architectural studies, building or construction technologies, surveying, civil or structural engineering
  • Over 12 years’ post-graduation experience
  • Preferably with a mixed experience in professional practices, researches or promotion on sustainable buildings and green constructions
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese
