Outstanding Hong Kong Green Building Leaders - Swire Properties Limited and Ms Mary Chan Won the WorldGBC’s Asia Pacific Leadership in Green Building Awards

Two pioneers from Hong Kong -  Swire Properties Limited was awarded the Business Leadership in Sustainability whereas Ms Mary Chan from DLN Architects Limited won the Women in Green Building Leadership Award.

Presented by the WorldGBC, the biennial Awards recognise iconic green buildings, up-and-coming innovators and inspiring companies that create a better future throughout the region. The results were announced in Singapore on 6 September 2018.

Receiving the prestigious Awards signifies Hong Kong's dedication and leadership role in driving excellence in building sustainability. The Winners were selected among the nominations of 16 Finalists across the Asia Pacific region by a jury comprised of renowned industry experts.

Women in Green Building Leadership Award
Ms Mary Chan, DLN Architects Limited, Hong Kong
Ms Mary Chan is the Head of Sustainable Building Design and Assistant Director at DLN Architects Limited. An architect with over three decades of experience, her achievements and contributions to the green building movement include spearheading further development of the Hong Kong Green Building Council, leading successful public engagement programmes "My Green Space" and the "Green Shopping Alliance" and advocating and influencing government regulators to encourage more green building development in Hong Kong.
