Ir Wallace LIN is the General Manager, Facilities Management & Sustainable Development of Swire Properties Limited. He currently oversees the overall development of the Company's Facilities Management and Sustainable Development, formulates and executes plans including the Company's SD2030 strategy, digitalisation in energy management, stakeholder engagement in ESG impacts, Science-based Targets and climate risk assessments, etc.
He actively dedicates his efforts towards devising decarbonisation strategies and exploring innovative technologies and energy saving solutions to drive the implementation of energy efficiency and renewable applications to achieve ambitious sustainability goals and combat climate change. His particular areas of interests are retro-commissioning and system optimisations of building services systems.
Wallace is a Chartered Engineer, Fellow of The Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers and Institution of Mechanical Engineers, and Member of The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, and currently Director of Hong Kong Green Building Council. He is also a Registered Engineer Assessor and possesses in-depth knowledge and almost 30 years' ample experience in the design and operation of building services, energy and green building management as well as indoor air quality control throughout his professional development. He is also a member of the WELL Social Sustainability Working Group and Steering Committee Member of the Energy Transition Advisory Group of Business Environment Council.
