Chris graduated from the University of Wales in Civil Engineering and got a MSc in Building Services Engineering from the University of Glasgow. After graduating he joined Arup in 1981 and gained 30 years of experience in sustainable buildings where he led Arup’s Sustainable Buildings Team in London. He joined Foster + Partners in 2011 helping to found the engineering team bringing integrated engineering design to projects across the practice. Chris is the Head of Sustainability of F+P and leads a team which guides projects in aspects of social, environmental and economic sustainability.
