2021 Election Committee Subsector Ordinary Election (Architectural, Surveying, Planning and Landscape Subsector) - Request for Nomination
Pursuant to the Improving Electoral System (Consolidated Amendments) Ordinance 2021, the Hong Kong Green Building Council Limited (HKGBC) has registered as a voter in the Architectural, Surveying, Planning and Landscape Subsector under the Second Sector: The Professions of the Election Committee.
HKGBC may nominate up to 15 candidates in the 2021 Election Committee Subsector Ordinary Election (the Election). Prospective candidates who are interested to represent the Architectural, Surveying, Planning and Landscape Subsector to stand for the Election are welcome to seek nomination from HKGBC.
To do so, prospective candidates should complete the specified form available HERE and return it to HKGBC via email to [email protected]k before 11:59 p.m. on 2 August 2021 (Monday).
HKGBC will then consider the requests received and aim to inform prospective candidates of the HKGBC’s decision on nomination on or before 6 August 2021.
Please note that HKGBC is a public body under the Prevention of Bribery Ordinance (Cap. 201). Also, the 2021 Election Committee Ordinary Subsector Election is regulated by the Elections (Corrupt and Illegal Conduct) Ordinance (Cap. 554).
