Mr James Lee is the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Paul Y. Engineering Group Limited (the Group), an award winning and BEAM Plus oriented contractor providing a broad range of comprehensive one-stop construction solutions for over 70 years. As a Registered Architect, an Authorised Person (Architects List) under the Hong Kong Buildings Ordinance, a Chartered Building Engineer of the Chartered Association of Building Engineers, a Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Architects, a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Real Estate Administrators, a Professional Member of the Hong Kong Interior Design Association, and an Associate Member of the Hong Kong Mediation and Arbitration Centre, he has over 29 years of experience in project management, property development and architectural practice.
Mr Lee has a keen interest in green construction and sustainable development to steer research and application of innovative construction technologies. With a thorough understanding of Modular Integrated Construction (MiC) and dedication to drive smart construction, the Group has received the first green trade loan arranged by HSBC Group for 1224-place HKU student residence at Wong Chuk Hang.
Nevertheless, under Mr. Lee’s leadership, the Group has developed both project-wide and group-wide environmentally friendly and sustainability measures. The Group has participated in various initiatives including carbon footprint credit systems, energy saving / optimisation and is formulating its own sustainable construction package “Intech-workplace”.
