Hong Kong Delegation to the World Sustainable Built Environment Conference 2020 (WSBE 2020)
Following the success of hosting the World Sustainable Built Environment Conference 2017 Hong Kong (WSBE17 Hong Kong), we are pleased to announce our participation at the coming World Sustainable Built Environment Conference 2020 (WSBE 2020) this June! Together with the Construction Industry Council (CIC), the HKGBC is organising a Hong Kong Delegation to join WSBE 2020.
WSBE 2020 not only serves as a reputable international platform for global experts and industry stakeholders to share knowledge and innovative ideas on the conference theme, but also an opportunity for Hong Kong to demonstrate our collective effort in driving for a sustainable built environment and becoming the world’s exemplar on green building development.
The CIC & HKGBC have jointly become the highest tier of sponsor of WSBE 2020 – Platinum Sponsor. As a Platinum Sponsor, the CIC & HKGBC will engage in organising one HK Session (Parallel Session) in discussion of Hong Kong’s latest green building development, an exhibition booth to showcase the state of sustainable built environment in Hong Kong, as well as publishing a Hong Kong Report 2020 to showcase the essence of all parties’ effort and achievements.
The ambition of WSBE 2020 is to create the missing link between the UN Sustainable Development Goals, especially Goal 11 Sustainable Cities and Communities, and the built environment. WSBE 2020 is part of a Sustainable Built Environment (SBE) conference series. First originated in 1998, the SBE conference series has evolved to become today’s leading international conference series on sustainable building and construction, running on a 3-year cycle. Hong Kong was the host city of the WSBE17 Conference.

We would recommend Hong Kong Delegates to join the ‘Standard’ Package which covers attendance to all sessions, conference material, lunches and refreshments in the breaks during the conference days.
