The Hong Kong Green Building Council plays a major role in advocating green building policy in Hong Kong, and has worked seamlessly with the Development Bureau ever since the Council’s establishment in 2009. From gross floor area concessions to the development of new areas, the Bureau has always given serious consideration to BEAM Plus, the Council’s rating tool, and other green building concepts promulgated by the Hong Kong Green Building Council.
