Hong Kong Delegation to WSBE2020 Gothenburg! Collaboration of Green Building Industry and Government Effort
A Hong Kong Delegation is being organised to join the World Sustainable Built Environment Conference (WSBE) 2020 to be held in Gothenburg, Sweden from 9 to 11 June 2020 - BEYOND 2020!
Hong Kong’s participation in the world sustainable built environment conference series has been a joint collaboration of the industry and the government under Development Bureau since 2008. At WSB08 Melbourne and WSB11 Helsinki, Mrs Carrie Lam, the then Secretary for Development led a delegation of 60+ professionals to promote Hong Kong; while at WSB14 Barcelona, Mr Paul Chan led a delegation of 115 Hong Kong professionals to showcase Hong Kong’s capabilities in driving the green building development. With Hong Kong hosting the WSBE17 Hong Kong, Mr Eric Ma and other top officials from the government fully supported this international mega conference.
To sustain this momentum and to further pursue the world agenda on climate change, continuous government leadership and industry participation are of paramount importance. Therefore, we look forward to working with all relevant stakeholders effectively in expediting the discussions.
