The Hong Kong Green Building Council is pleased to support the Hong Kong Green Finance Association (HKGFA) and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) to promote their 7th cohort of the HKGFA-HKUST Certificate on Sustainable Finance. The Programme supports the Hong Kong SAR Government’s drive to build and develop ESG talent and upskill the next generation of sustainable finance professionals. The Programme provides unique access to learn from industry experts and academia on the Asian sustainable finance landscape, sustainable financing products, ESG integration and climate risk management to achieve net zero targets. Programme participants would benefit from joining the HKGFA-HKUST alumni network, providing access to ongoing training and networking opportunities.

Below is a summary of the programme:

• 6 modules would be taught by industry leaders from organisations such as such as Hongkong Land, Arup, Fidelity International, and Hang Seng Bank
• 3 consecutive Saturdays (6, 13 & 27 Jun) from 9am to 5pm at Dorset House, Quarry Bay
• These in-person sessions offer valuable networking opportunities with lecturers and peers across various industries

Eligible benefits upon course completion, subject to conditions:

• HKGFA and HKUST Business School will jointly issue the Certificate of Completion to participants who have achieved a 70% attendance and assessment pass mark. A written proof of attendance will be distributed to participants upon completion of programme
• Exclusive access to HKGFA events (e.g., complimentary tickets to the HKGFA Annual Forum)
• Participants may reimburse up to HK$10,000 or 80% of the course fee as under the Pilot Green and Sustainable Finance Capacity Building Support Scheme
• HKICPA CPAs/ CFA charterholders or SFC licensed persons may be able to claim CPD hours/PL Credits/CPT hours, based on the member guidelines
• Participants completing the course are eligible to apply for Module 1 and Module 2 exemptions of the HKMA Enhanced Competency Framework Accreditation on GSF Core Level Training Programme
