Supported by the Hong Kong Green Building Council, the Open Lecture by Prof. Negin NAZARIAN is to be held on 10 Feb 2026 (Tue) in Hong Kong.

Organised by the School of Architecture of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Open Lecture will focus on urban wind modelling and urban ventilation assessment, a topic closely aligned with AVA and relevant professional practice and the Open Lecture will be delivered by Prof. Negin NAZARIAN.

Prof. NAZARIAN, Scientia Associate Professor at the University of New South Wales (UNSW Sydney), is a recognised leader in urban climate, advancing knowledge on city-climate interactions. She is Deputy Director (Science Partnership) at the ARC Centre of Excellence for the Weather of the 21st Century, chairs the Board on Urban Environment at the American Meteorological Society, and is a Lead Author of the IPCC Special Report on Climate Change and Cities in the 7th Assessment Report (AR7).
