The Hong Kong Green Building Council (HKGBC) and the BEAM Society Limited (BSL) will jointly host a parallel session at the 21st International Conference on Green and Energy-Efficient Building & Low-Carbon and Resilient Urban and Rural Science Technology Expo to expand the global reach and influence of BEAM Plus and the HKGBC's services beyond Hong Kong.

Themed "Leveraging BEAM Plus to Boost the Greater Bay Area’s International Green Building Leadership in Sustainable, Low-Carbon, and Resilient Urban-Rural Development", the Session will feature compelling presentations and discussions on critical topics, including green building standards and low-carbon practices, supported by real-world case studies. Industry experts from the Greater Bay Area (GBA) will also participate, highlighting the region’s synergy in achieving carbon neutrality and sustainable green building development.

About the Conference

The International Conference on Green and Energy-efficient Building is the most authoritative international academic conference in the field of green building in China. It showcases China’s green building development concepts and achievements. This edition of the Conference will be held during 16-17 May 2025 at the Hainan International Convention And Exhibition Center, with the theme of “Create a Green and Low-Carbon Industrial Ecosystem and Cultivate New Growth Points for Green Buildings”.
