Supported by the Hong Kong Green Building Council, the HKIE Environmental Division Annual Forum 2025 would be held in Hong Kong on 15 April 2025 (Tuesday).

Organised by the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE), the Forum is themed "Climate Governance through Environmental Mitigation and Adaptation: Challenges & Opportunities for Engineers". The Forum provides a timely platform for environmental experts and relevant stakeholders to agree on essential questions of the climate change agenda and brainstorm sustainable solutions. The forum is particularly to find out challenges and opportunities for engineers to participate in the mitigation and adaptation actions. Many of these actions in Hong Kong are in the domain of built environment and closely related to the sustainable development of the local construction industry. It would focus on challenges and opportunities in the following four sessions: 

• Sustainable Water Environment
• Nature-Inspired Strategies in the Built Environment
• Waste and Resource Technologies
• ESG Innovation for Climate Resilience and Sustainability
