Green finance has been a hot topic in Hong Kong recently and has earned general support from the public and private sectors as well.

Green finance has been a hot topic in Hong Kong recently and has earned general support from the public and private sectors as well. The HKGBC is expecting the development of such emerging platform would allow more green building projects to tap funding from the capital market, and hence promoting the overall green building development in the city.

With this flourishing opportunity, HKGBC is organising a series of events in collaboration with GRESB, an industry-driven organisation specialising in benchmarking the ESG performance of international real estate investments and developers, to engage various stakeholders in the industry on the latest development in this area. Government officials, local and overseas experts and industry pioneers will be invited to share insight from different perspectives.
