CPD Event - Technical Visit to Hong Kong Housing Authority's MiC Mock-up for Tung Chung Area 99

Registration starts at 2:00pm on 24 April 2023 (Monday)

Limited seats. First come, first served.

Organised by the Hong Kong Green Building Council and supported by BEAM Society Limited.

This visit takes us to the first public housing project of the Hong Kong Housing Authority using Modular Integrated Construction (MiC). Located in Tung Chung Extension Area, this 12-storey domestic block will consist of 564 concrete MiC modules, while the construction cycle of each MiC floor will take 6 days. It is hoped that through this precedent, MiC technology can be extended to more residential buildings so as to increase the housing supply and alleviate housing problems in Hong Kong.

During the visit, participants will have a chance to understand the MiC method adopted by the Hong Kong Housing Authority and to appreciate the quality and details of the MiC Mock-up flats.
