HKIE - Webinar: Retrofit, The Key To Achieving Carbon Neutrality

Supported by the Hong Kong Green Building Council, the “Webinar: Retrofit, The Key to Achieving Carbon Neutrality” would be held on 9 December 2022 (Friday) in a hybrid format.

Organised by the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) Gas and Energy Division, the Webinar would feature retrofit, which is the key to achieving carbon neutrality by 2050. The EMSD, the HKGBC, and 5 other organisations have just signed a MOC with the objective of driving retrofit to the Greater Bay Area. Following the signing of the MOC, the HKGBC has recently launched a retrofit guidebook to facilitate the industry to mainstream the adoption of retrofit. The presentation would address the importance and challenges of retrofit and give a brief introduction to the retrofit guidebook, and what the HKGBC is planning to create a retrofit market in order to achieve the vision of carbon neutrality. Ir Dr Cary Chan, Executive Director of HKGBC, would be the speaker of this webinar.
