DSB & FoE - SME ESG Best Practices Recognition Programme Industry Forum 2
Supported by the Hong Kong Green Building Council, the SME ESG Best Practices Recognition Programme Industry Forum 2 would be held on 21 September 2022 (Wednesday) in a hybrid mode.
The SME ESG Best Practices Recognition Programme is co-organised by Dah Sing Bank and Friends of the Earth (HK). The programme aims to encourage local SMEs to implement ESG best practices. Through implementing an assessment framework based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG), SMEs can achieve sustainability in their industry value chain. The objective of the programme is to assist SMEs in adopting ESG practices and encouraging SMEs to embark on a journey of sustainability. SMEs that takes part in the recognition programme will be introduced to the proprietary ESG best practice framework developed by Friends of the Earth (HK) with a maximum six-month period to adapt and implement ESG best practices.
With the theme "The Roadmap to a Sustainable Retail & e-Commerce Sector - Opportunities and Challenges to SMEs", the second forum for Retail and e-Commerce sector would be conducted on 21 September 2022 (Wednesday). It would bring together representatives from listed companies and SMEs to discuss how to ride on the trend of ESG and digital transformation to achieve a win-win partnership for a sustainable business environment.
