HKGBC Session – Rethinking Built Spaces at ReThink HK 2021
Hong Kong Green Building Council (HKGBC) is pleased to support ReThink HK 2021 as a Content Partner by hosting “Rethinking Built Spaces” on 6 October 2021. Industry leaders are invited to join two themed sessions, Revitalised and Sustainable Communities and Innovation and Energy Efficiency, to share insights on how buildings work together to create a sustainable community and how innovations and technologies can achieve energy efficiency and decarbonisation.
ReThink HK 2021, in its second edition, will take place from 5 – 6 Oct 2021. The event aims to provide insight and inspiration from a Hong Kong context for driving sustainable development across globally recognised risk and opportunity topics.

Session A - Revitalised and Sustainable Communities
Featuring three signature projects, this session showcases how sustainable buildings can reintegrate into and rejuvenate community with culture and art, balance revitalisation and conservation, enhance neighbourhood’s wellbeing by offering new life and purposes for historical buildings.
Session B - Innovation and Energy Efficiency
This session focuses on how innovations and technologies facilitate energy efficiency and decarbonisation. The three innovative cases promote the use of clean energy, and take smart and green buildings to the next level in a way beyond imagination.
