Mui Fong House Attains BEAM Plus Final Gold Rating
Mui Fong House at 10 Mui Fong Street, one of the student residences for the University of Hong Kong, attains Final Gold rating under BEAM Plus New Buildings V1.2 Scheme, demonstrating its excellence in environmentally friendly building design, sustainable energy use and indoor environmental management.
The student hostel establishes innovative hostel communal spaces and smart recycling facilities, promoting students’ civic spirit and green hostel living. Sustainable technologies are adopted to maximise energy efficiency and eco-friendly building design has been incorporated to encourage sustainable living in the local community.
