CSHK Was Recently Awarded for Its Technological Innovation and Sustainable Development

China State Construction Engineering (Hong Kong) Limited (“CSHK”) has recently won several awards recognising its achievement in building technologies and sustainable development.

CSHK has been awarded two bronze awards at the International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva 2023. This recognition is a significant honour for the company, underscoring its commitment to advancing the construction industry. The awards are a testament to the team's dedication to developing a smart construction management platform, C-SMART, and collaborative work with the HKPC - Hong Kong Productivity Council to create the C-S Hyper Construction Site Robot. CSHK believes that the hard work would develop cutting-edge technology that can drive the industry forward.

O·PARK2 project built by CSHK has just been recognised for its exceptional carbon neutrality performance, and led the company to be included in the 2023 Fortune China ESG Impact List for the first time! This prestigious honour places it among the top 40 Chinese companies and practices leading the charge in sustainable development.

O·PARK2 is the first national carbon-neutral construction pilot project, with a strong focus on minimising carbon emissions throughout the building process and beyond, considering the entire lifecycle of the structure. In the future, CSHK will incorporate innovative low-carbon materials and management techniques in this ground-breaking project.

Recently, CSHK won 6 awards in the Quality Building Awards 2022. The North Lantau Hospital Hong Kong Infection Control Centre, designed and built by the company, won the first Innovative Project Award and the Quality Building Awards 2022 (Hong Kong Non-Residential (New Building - Government, Institution or Community). The CUHK Medical Centre and The LOHAS & MONTARA undertaken by CSHK won the "Hong Kong Non-Residential" category Merits Award and Finalists Award respectively; the Relocation of Sha Tin Sewage Treatment Works to Caverns project won the newly added "Temporary Building" category Award; Sol City won the Finalists Award in the category of "Hong Kong Residential (Multiple Buildings)".
