Inclusive Cities: Regenerative Urbanism and Community Centred Development
Inclusive cities are places where people, businesses and communities can connect, participate and thrive. This is supported not only by sustainable buildings, but also by a district-scale approach that integrates placemaking, connectivity, wellbeing, resilience and environmental stewardship.
Across the Asia Pacific region, urbanisation, climate challenges and evolving community expectations are increasing interest in how urban districts can create long-term value beyond individual developments. This session will explore how community-centred development, placemaking and long-term stewardship can contribute to more vibrant, resilient and regenerative urban districts.
