Prof. Wei PAN is Associate Vice-President (Research and GBA) of The University of Hong Kong. He is also Associate Dean (Masters) of Engineering, Executive Director of Centre for Innovation in Construction and Infrastructure Development (CICID), and Director of Net Zero Laboratory and MiC Laboratory of the University. Prof. PAN specialised in smart and sustainable construction engineering and management with professional experience in China, UK, Singapore and Hong Kong. His research interest covers modular integrated construction (MiC), prefabrication, smart and sustainable infrastructure, net zero carbon, and lifecycle assessment. Prof. PAN has authored over 280 publications and supervised over 70 doctoral and post-graduate researchers. He is Chartered Builder, Chartered Environmentalist, Fellow of Higher Education Academy, and Member of Hong Kong Institution of Engineers. Prof. PAN was awarded Distinguished Young Investigator of China by the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2019 and awarded in the 2020 Honours List of the HKSAR.
