M. ANAND is Principal Counsellor of CII’s Indian Green Building Council (IGBC). He has been elected as Vice Chair of World GBC’s Asia Pacific Regional Network (APN) on 1 July 2021.
M. Anand is a Green Building Professional, at CII - Sohrabji Godrej Green Business Centre, located at Hyderabad, India.
He is the Principal Counsellor and a senior team member of CII’s Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) since 1996.
Mr ANAND shares India’s perspectives on green buildings & built environment at World Green Building Council’s (WorldGBC) Forums - The World Green Building Council (WorldGBC) catalyses the uptake of sustainable buildings for everyone, everywhere. He has represented CII’s IndiaGBC in several meetings / sessions of World GBC, since 2004.
Guinness World Records has awarded Mr ANAND, with Certification of Participation as a “Speaker” in 2019. He is also a TEDx speaker. He brings to fore his rich and varied experience and expertise on green built environment and sustainability.
He was instrumental in launching over 100 IGBC Students’ Chapters in premier Architectural & Engineering colleges across India.
He is leading a team of over 60 professionals, who are involved in the spread & growth of green building movement in India.
