Mr FUNG Siu-man

FUNG Siu-man’s background included both Architectural and Urban Development Planning studies from the University of Hong Kong and University Colleges London; he has over 35 years of professional practice in Hong Kong, Chinese Mainland and Canada. Since joining the institutional sector in 2006 as Director of Campus Development and Chief Architect, Mr Fung has been an integral part of CUHK’s Sustainability Campus Development and Green Building Design.

With a vision to harmonise nature, architecture and people for wellness and sustainability, projects under Mr Fung’s supervision were awarded with Hong Kong Institute of Architects Annual Awards, HKGBC Green Building Awards, short listed in World Architecture Festival and achieving top HKBEAM / BEAM Plus platinum standard. CUHK was honoured with the Pioneer Award - Green Building Leadership Category by HKGBC-HKPGBC in 2019 for her sustainability campus development.

Signature projects completed by Mr Fung included e.g. CUHK and CityU campus development plans, CUHK (Shenzhen) campus, Research and Technology Park for PRC telecom corporation, MTRC Kornhill Community (Phase1) and design & build projects of CUHK Medical Centre and Cheung Sha Wan Government Offices etc.

Mr Fung is an active member of the Hong Kong Architecture Center to promote architecture design to the general public. He has assumed lately the honorary post of Senior College Tutor - Chung Chi College to continue his contributions to general education in the University.
