Prof. Davis BOOKHART is The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology’s Director of the Sustainability / Net-Zero Office which develops and acts as steward of the university’s comprehensive sustainability master plan (HKUST 2028 Sustainability Challenge). He also holds an academic appointment in the Division of Environment and Sustainability where he teaches classes on sustainability management and sustainability thinking. He serves as secretariat for the Sustainable Smart Campus as a Living Lab initiative, is Chair of the Task Force on Sustainability Progress within the HK Sustainable Campus Consortium, and serves as Advisory Board member of the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE). BOOKHART was previously the founding director of the Office of Sustainability at Johns Hopkins University, following six years as Senior Research Director at the Consumer Energy Council of America in Washington, DC.
