Green Building Conference 2012

Thank you for the overwhelming responses, we are moving the Green Building Conference 2012 to GRAND HALL@HKCEC, and is FULL-HOUSED!

Conserving for Liveable Environmental Building towards Sustainable Development

Hong Kong Green Building Council (HKGBC) organises the Green Building Conference 2012 with Professional Green Building Council (PGBC) in conjunction with the biennial Green Building Award (GBA).

Throughout the last two years, HKGBC has successfully accomplished the "4As", that is: Assessment, Accreditation, Award, and Advocacy.  We are ready to flourish on the other "2As" - "Accelerate" Hong Kong's positioning worldwide in driving the sustainable built development; and "Advance" our knowledge in adopting the successes and beauties of policies from other countries in facilitating our vision of building a quality and sustainable built home city of Hong Kong.

We are honoured to have the Representatives from the World GBC, China GBC, together with the Winners of the 2011 World GBC Government Leadership Awards for Excellence in City Policy for Green Building at the United Nations Climate Change Conference, such as New York, San Francisco, and Singapore, etc. to share their experience with us.

Carrying the same theme as Green Building Award (GBA) 2012, "Towards Zero Carbon", some Finalists of GBA, from Asia Pacific and our home city, will share their successes in driving new and existing building development that foster a quality and sustainable built environment in Asia Pacific and Hong Kong.
