- Report to the Executive Director on all matters arising from IT that may impact operations
- Lead and coach a small IT team to achieve departmental objectives
- Lead the IT infrastructure overhaul project
- Oversee and implement the ongoing maintenance of IT infrastructure, including but not limited to Linux system, Window system, MySQL
- Manage application hosting, monitor performance and capacity, ensure continuous operation, and regularly deploy security updates and patching
- Supervise third parties in outsourced projects to ensure quality and timely delivery, and compliant with IT Security Policies
- Enhance the organisation's cybersecurity posture and implement key controls
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure efficient and secure operations

- A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 10 years of relevant work experience is preferable, with 5 years at the supervisory level
- Hand on experience of IT infrastructure (Linux server, Window Server, MySQL), application hosting, and cybersecurity
- Certifications in Cloud Management and Infrastructure Management would be advantageous
- Experience with security device implementation and configurations, such as Firewall, Web Application Firewall, and endpoint security
- Proficiency in directory services maintenance such as Active Directory and Entra ID
- Cloud and on-premise virtualisation technologies, such as VMware, Nutanix, Azure Cloud, and AliCloud
- Experience with Network Attached Storage, backup software, hypervisor management, and database management
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Good supervision skills and excellent communication and presentation skills to convey IT technical knowledge and concept to the management and end-user in all levels

Job Description
Responsible for overall coordination and management of a 3-year territory-wide Kindergarten Enhancement Project (the “Project”) executed by HKGBC and funded by the Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC) Charities Trust, including progress, quality, cost and client relationships. Tentative commencement date of the Project is 1 March 2026. The Project aims to equip around 135 kindergartens with nature-based learning facilities including aquaponics equipment, planter boxes, fish tanks, sand and water play equipment, mural arts, moss walls, upcycled wood furniture and real-time IAQ monitors, etc.
- Manage the procurement and tendering process
- Vet submittals of suppliers and contractors and ensure supplies and installation works comply with the Project requirements
- Manage and supervise the work of Project Team members
- Liaise with external parties, including kindergarten staff, suppliers, contractors, the project sponsor (Jockey Club) and project partner (Vocational Training Council – Child Education unit)
- Responsible for budget and expenses control, commercial and technical matters
- Derive and manage a nature-based kindergarten labelling scheme, including facilities verification and assessment

Job Description
