Ir Wallace LIN is General Manager, Technical Services & Sustainable Development of Swire Properties Limited. He currently leads a team to oversee the overall development of the Company's Sustainable Development, formulate and execute plans including the Company's SD2030 strategy, digitalisation in energy management, stakeholder engagement in environmental, social and economic impacts, Science-based Targets and climate risk assessments, etc.
He actively dedicates his efforts towards devising decarbonisation strategies and exploring innovative technologies and energy saving solutions to drive the implementation of energy efficiency and renewable applications to achieve ambitious sustainability goals and combat climate change. His particular areas of interests are retro-commissioning and system optimisations of building services systems.
Wallace is a Chartered Engineer, Fellow of The Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers and Institution of Mechanical Engineers, and Member of The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers. He is also a Registered Engineer Assessor and possesses in-depth knowledge and more than 25 years' ample experience in the design and operation of building services, energy and green building management as well as indoor air quality control throughout his professional development. He is also currently a member of the Steering Committee of the Sustainable Living Environment Advisory Group of Business Environment Council. He was graduated from The University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering and later obtained a Master of Science Degree in Building Services Engineering.
