Dr Raymond YAU Man-hung

Dr Raymond Yau is General Manager of Technical Services & Sustainable Development at Swire Properties. Under his leadership since 2016, he leads a number of initiatives that are pivotal to long-term sustainable development of the property developer. These include formulation of company-wide SD 2030 Vision and strategies, digital transformation of technical services, ESG Green Finance framework of green bonds, Climate Risk Assessment and the Science-based Targets. Before joining Swire, he was Fellow and Director of Arup at Hong Kong, and had been practicing as a consulting engineer for over 28 years in designing sustainable buildings and sustainable built environment consulting. He received the Innovation Award for Engineering Industry from HKIE in 2013 on CIC Zero Carbon Building for his role as the Principal Investigator.
Raymond is Member of the Advisory Council on the Environment (2021 – 2022), Director of Business Environment Council, a Founding Member of International WELL Building Institute Governance Council, Member of GRESB Standard Review Committee, Co-opted Member of Sustainable Development Committee of HKGBC and Committee Member of China Green Building Council. He is Fellow Member of HKIE and CIBSE. Raymond received the 2019 IWBI Leadership Award and first place winner of 2021 ASHRAE Technology Awards on Commercial Buildings - EBCx.
