Mr Randy YU Hon-kwan, MH, JP

Mr Randy YU is the Community Relations General Manager of Henderson Land Development Company Limited, steering initiatives in sustainability development, corporate citizenship and community relations.
Mr YU is a Chartered Surveyor who possesses over 30 years of experience in construction and property development. He was also a lecturer at the University of Reading (UK), Greenwich University (UK) and the University of Hong Kong, teaching subjects in construction field. In recent years, Mr YU has dedicated a significant proportion of his time in community works. He is currently the Chairman of the Islands District Council, a member of Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department’s Country and Marine Parks Board, Development Bureau’s Lantau Conservation Fund Advisory Committee, Home and Youth Affairs Bureau’s Community Investment & Inclusion Fund and many more public advisory bodies. Mr YU is appointed as Justice of the Peace of Hong Kong on 1 Jul 2010 and he was awarded a Medal of Honour in Jul 2015 in recognition of his long and dedicated public and community services.
Mr Randy YU is currently a Board Director of the Business Environment Council (BEC), representing Henderson Land Development Company Limited. He is also serving as the Chairman of BEC Communications and Membership Committee since 24 Sept 2015. He was a Board Director of the BEC from 16 Jun 2011 to 18 Feb 2015, representing another listed company and was the Chairman of the BEC Communications and Membership Committee from 7 Mar 2014 to 18 Feb 2015. Mr YU also served as the director of Hong Kong Green Building Council from 2014 to 2015.
