Sr Kenneth YUN Ying-kit

Sr YUN is a building surveyor by profession and was a past Chairman of the Building Surveying Division of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS). He promoted green building in the HKIS for more than two decades by joining different committees and working groups under the HKIS. In 2011, he represented the HKIS to join the Professional Green Building Council (PGBC) as a co-opted member. Sr YUN joined the Green Labelling Committee under the HKGBC in the same year until 2017. He joined the Sustainable Development Committee and Green Product Task Force in 2021, then joined the Green Labeling Committee and Finance and Executuve Committee in 2022 after being nominated by the PGBC as one of the Directors in the HKGBC. He is the Chairman of the PGBC for 2023-2024. In the past decade, Sr YUN joined different steering committees and task forces to oversee the development of the BEAM Plus Interior 1.0, BEAM Plus NB 2.0, BEAM Plus EB 2.0, BEAM Plus Data Centre 1.0, BEAM Plus Existing Schools 1.0 and BEAM Plus EB 3.0 under the BEAM Society Limited and the Reviewing, and Enhancing the CIC Green Product Certification Scheme under the HKGBC. Moreover, Sr YUN has actively participated in the organization of the Green Building Award (GBA) since 2012 and he is the Chairman of the Organising Committee for GBA 2023.
