CPD Webinar - Briefing on Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) Charging Implementation Details

This webinar is organised by the Hong Kong Green Building Council.
The bill of the “Waste Disposal (Charging for Municipal Solid Waste) (Amendment) Ordinance 2021” to implement Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) charging was passed by the Legislative Council on 26 August 2021. The government is now actively taking forward relevant preparatory work to enable various stakeholders and members of the public to prepare for implementing MSW charging. To provide stakeholders with the essential knowledge of the statutory requirements and implementation details of MSW charging, Business Environment Council Limited has been commissioned by the Environmental Protection Department (EPD) to conduct an online briefing on MSW Charging for various industry practitioners. This webinar is of particular value to those who are involved in existing building operations or the planning of waste facilities for buildings.
