Hong Kong Green Building Council (HKGBC) would thank you for your support in applying the BEAM Plus for project assessment.  BEAM Plus, the comprehensive environmental assessment scheme recognized by the Hong Kong Green Building Council, has been officially launched since 1st April 2010.

To make project registration for BEAM Plus assessment, please fill in this Online Registration Form, and make payment of the Registration Fee to the HKGBC.  Upon receipt of the Registration Fee, HKGBC will issue the Receipt and the Acknowledgement Letter to confirm the completion of project registration application.  HKGBC will then entrust the BEAM Society (BSL) to follow up with the Applicants for the assessment arrangement.  The certificate will be issued by the HKGBC upon successful assessment.

ANNOUNCEMENT New!!   

The registration for BEAM Plus Version 1.2 for New Buildings and Existing Buildings is available from 8th November 2012.  Until 31st December 2012, project applicants can choose either BEAM Plus Version 1.1 or BEAM Plus Version 1.2 for assessment.  From 1st January 2013 onwards, only BEAM Plus Version 1.2 will be available for BEAM Plus Project Registration. 

For projects which were registered under BEAM Plus Version 1.1 for New Buildings (NB) or Existing Buildings (EB), project applicants can now opt to switch to Version 1.2 until 31 December 2012 subject to registration fee requirement.  Project applicants who wish to switch to BEAM Plus Version 1.2 are kindly requested to send an email to notify the HKGBC BEAM Plus Registration Secretariat at beamplus_enquiry@hkgbc.org.hk.  For further enquiries, please contact the HKGBC Secretariat at 3994 8888.

BEAM Plus Assessment Tool and Version

The BEAM Plus EB assessment tool is generally applicable to existing buildings with an emphasis on the operation & management aspects. In case of existing building subject to different extent of A&A works, the applicant is advised to consult and verify with BEAM Society on the selection of applicable assessment tool (i.e., BEAM Plus NB or EB) before project registration. The Assessment Fee will be charged based on the CFA. Incorrect information may delay the assessment process.

Application Fee & Project Scale for Assessment Fee

Charitable organisations which are exempt from tax under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance are eligible to apply for fee concession for the BEAM Plus Project Registration Fee (subject to fulfillment of other application conditions).
An on-screen Payment Instruction (printable note) will be generated after you press the "Submit" button. We shall only provide the electronic Payment Advice per request in about three working days after submission made.

Acknowledgement

If the project has been registered with the previous BEAM version, the applicant understands that each new project can only be certified under either BEAM 4/04 or BEAM Plus, and will therefore write to BEAM Society Limited to confirm the termination of BEAM 4/04 for this project and be responsible for the settlement of all liabilities under the BEAM 4/04 arrangement with the Business Environment Council.
