Qualification of Green Building Faculty
To become a Member of Green Building Faculty (GB Faculty), one has to demonstrate the ability to meet the minimum requirements under Part A and additional criteria shown on Part B. Candidates who have demonstrated experience and track record on Part C would be considered favourably.
Part A – Basic Criteria
Candidate must fulfill the following requirement:

Accredited BEAM Pro status; or minimum academic and professional qualifications satisfying the requirement of BEAM Professional (BEAM Pro).
Part B – Additional Criteria
Candidate has to further fulfill either one of the following criteria:

Minimum fifteen (15) years of relevant post degree (or equivalent) working experience, or
-
Previous BEAM Faculty membership with recognised contribution.
Part C – Preferential Criteria
Priority will be given to candidate who meets one of the following requirements:

Experienced in the leading or training of at least one of the aspects of Site, Material, Energy, Water, Indoor Environmental Quality, Operation Maintenance, Innovation and Addition, and other relevant aspects under the BEAM Plus; or
-
Have exemplary project/research/teaching experience demonstrating close relevance to the above subject aspect(s); or
-
Have past contribution to the works of HKGBC and/or BSL.
An open recruitment exercise was conducted in July 2012. The term of office of the current members will last till 30 June 2014. We will open recruitment again when we approach the end of the term of office.
